Every time we design a new model or collection, we create a few prototypes, often with several landing at once. This one totally dropped of our radar due to a rare moment of tidying... until the other day when we re-discovered them.
Sometimes a model becomes part of our collections and sometimes because of timing or a million other reasons (we're a sensitive bunch) they might never be seen outside EB HQ. This is one of the latter but having re-acquainted ourselves with them again they really caught our eye as something rather special.
It's a Limited Edition of just 15, because that's how many we made. Once they're gone, they're gone. Our first ever Kimmeridge Ltd edition and it's a Mountain Rescue version which means we'll be donating £35 from every one to MREW.
The bespoke matt white dial features the Mountain Rescue England & Wales logo picked out in a pale grey outline at 6 o'clock, with clear bright Superluminova hour markers, numerals and hands. For a little pop of colour in keeping with MREW, the triangle key line at 12 o'clock is bright red.
The brushed stainless case is finished with a polished bezel that complements a polished centre link in the solid bracelet, with a micro extending clasp that expands, at the press of a button to fit over a wetsuit or for a little extra room on warmer days. Indestructible, ready for a hard life on the hills or in the water? We'd say so.
The 'compressor' case back is bolted down featuring the MREW logo deeply etched into the centre.
We currently have no plans to make any more of these.
