The Adventure Grant

#BlueMonday (Monday 18th Jan 2021) is billed as the most depressing day of the year, so to combat that, we've teamed up with Danny Bent (voted one of the 100 happiest people in the UK) to spread a bit of positivity to would be adventurers all over the world by gifting a £3,000 Adventure Grant.

“2020 and the early part of 2021 have been a struggle for everyone. Within lockdown, holidays have been cancelled, travel restricted and adventures postponed. I wanted to give people the opportunity to dream. To dream of the day borders open again, the day travel is permitted, the day you can pack your bags and explore this amazing world we live in”, explains Danny. 

Anyone can apply for the Adventure Grant. Whether you're 16 and about to dip a toe in the wider world, someone who has always wanted to push their limits or a current adventurer who's struggling to get their next exped off the ground, then get involved.

The best adventure ideas submitted via dannybent.com will be shortlisted by the sponsors and Danny will announce the winner on 1st March. What have you got to lose?

Your adventure can be solo or a group, it can be an adventure on your doorstep or around the world extravaganza... The only rule is whatever you’re doing needs to be human-powered (biking, running, swim, climb etc).

The successful applicant will not only have £3,000.00 to put towards their adventure... They will also be heading off wearing the softest Bamboo base layers, have an Elliot Brown on their wrist, will be kept dry thanks to kit from Land Rover's Above & Beyond technical clothing collection, will be able store all your new kit in an Osprey backpack and have a celebratory leaving party thanks to London Pride!
