Prime Time Reviews - August 2026

August has a habit of getting the best out of people. Long days, fewer excuses not to be outside, and the kind of mindset that turns an ordinary day of the week into something worth remembering. Our customers, as ever, have risen to the occasion, and when they took a moment to tell us about it, what came back was honest, generous and more than a little moving.

I absolutely love my Beachmaster!
"I visited the Poole office and was met by friendly and amazing staff, they genuinely could not have been more helpful. I was shown the range of watches but already had my heart set on a Beachmaster in blue. The team made sure it fitted and resized it for me, I also had an incredible offer of an additional strap, and I was really pleased when they offered to cut that one to size too. I am so pleased with the watch, I have a collection of watches from some well known brands, but this one has become my favourite. In fact, I cannot stop looking at it so always now know the time!!!! Thanks Elliot Brown, your service was amazing, the watch is gorgeous and I could not be more thrilled with my purchase. Also thanks for the birthday gift, I have worn it with pride during these sunny days."

The Cali Arne Woodie is a stunning watch!
"The Cali Arne Woodie is a beautiful watch with a twist of course, the Cali dial. On this watch with its gold accents and wooden dial it is simply stunning. It looks fantastic on its “Beeds of rice” bracelet. It looks great on its leather strap too. I have put it on the EB Bund and it looks so “Just right!” The dial is quite wonderful with Roman and Arabic numerals occupying the upper and lower half of the dial. With the bracelet and strap options this watch looks great wherever you might wear it. It’s also good to know that this watch is a Arne field watch and it comes with all the EB technical know how that makes it so utterly reliable in any situation. I am loving wearing it and it has certainly brought a smile to my face. In fact I have hardly taken it off my wrist since I bought it just over a week ago. It’s a great watch, well done in making it EB."

I have joined the EB customer family.
"A proud owner of a Canford , Beachmaster NIVO, Arne NIVO (blue version on the way), and the Holton green. The Beachmaster is an incredible watch. I don’t have any “missions” to track. Those days are long past. However, there is plenty in life that that this function comes in handy. The GMT function I do use frequently when traveling. Solidly built watch that fits comfortably on my wrist at 40 mm. I have the quartz version which keeps accurate time day in and day out. I bought it as a dive watch and it performs beautifully. Nice to know that my Beachmaster is the least of my concerns during what ever adventure I am on. Shout out to Gemma. She sold me on this watch in several of her watch videos. Thank you EB. Great product."

ARNE: CALI 606-008 "OCEAN OMBRÉ"
First Elliot Brown, not my last
"I saw this watch on my first visit to the website and just had to pick it up. The design and colour way is stunning and screams summer watch. The spec is seriously impressive and screams field watch in bright beach wear. The size and proportions of the watch are excellent but it’s really the colour and design that win it for me. I’ve only given 4 stars instead of 5, as despite saying the strap will size down to a 15cm wrist, this isn’t the case. I’ve measured the supplied strap and the smallest it’s sizing down to is circa 16.5cm. So if you have small wrists, the supplied strap may not work for you."

ARNE: CALI 606-008 "OCEAN OMBRÉ"
Pretty and bombproof
"I bought this on impulse whilst looking for a watch with a splash of colour. The watch reminds me of a sunset on the Mediterranean. It's beautiful and eye catching whilst feeling robust. It's chunky without being cumbersome and the sapphire glass looks like it could withstand a pickaxe. My only gripe is that the lume on the hands and indices could be stronger, but it's pretty much neck and neck with my Hamilton, another field watch, so I'm sure that was a calculated decision."
