Prime Time Reviews - May 2026
Between the longer days and the unexpected weather extremes, May has been quite the month. Our customers, it seems, have been making the most of every bit of it, and when they finally came up for air, a good number of them sat down and shared their thoughts with us.
What came in was honest, generous and filled us with pride. A few stopped us in our tracks entirely. Here's what the people wearing our watches have been saying this month.

Amazing!
" Met the guys at the Glasgow watch show and had a good wee chat. Was lovely to see the watches in person. Always thought the Holton would be the one for me but this Beachmaster was the star of the show for sure. The build quality, tactile bezel and amazing lume sold it to me. The bracelet also came with the watch as a show special so that was a major plus as it’s got on the fly and completes the watch for me. This watch is solid as a tank and the tone used on the NIVO dial is fantastic and goes really well with the PVD. Also want to give a big shout out Gemma for the amazing customer service and sorting me out, she also threw in some tasty coffee as a surprise too. Glad to be part of the EB family now. If you are thinking about getting one just do it you wont regret it"C.
HOLTON AUTOMATIC: 101-A10
Great watch!
" Having taken delivery, in December 2025, of the Holton Professional 'Reorg' limited edition watch, I managed to resist buying the Holton Professional Automatic 101 A10 until this week. EB's excellent service meant that I ordered it on Wednesday (20/5/26) and received it on Friday (22/5/26). The build quality is solid, detailed and the clarity of the watch face, in all conditions, is great. I went for the Flat Dark Earth rubber strap instead of the usual black rubber which, I think, enhances an already stunning time piece and makes it a bit more unique and individual. The value for money is outstanding and photos really just don't convey how good it looks on the wrist. I'm absolutely delighted with it. I was also able to take advantage of EB's Industry Discount (thanks EB, much appreciated) and I'm now spoilt for choice with my EB's. EB, I can't compliment you enough, well done and thanks."T.P.

Destro version.
Never bought a watch I haven't seen in person or handled. However I had faith id like but that was due to the interaction from Elliot Brown. I turned mine into a Destro version and I was certainly not disappointed when I received it. Its heavier than i thought but feels right on my wrist. Very happy with my purchase "G.S.

Beyond expectation.
" I must admit I was unsure about purchasing an Elliott Brown timepiece. How that uncertainty was erased when the watch arrived. I didn’t know what to expect in the Canford 202 -004 however the watch is excellent extremely comfortable for day to day wear but with enough class to be worn as a showpiece watch so to speak. It’s in my opinion extremely understated watch especially as this is my first Elliott Brown watch but hopefully won’t be my last. Furthermore I live in Australia and from placing my order in took just under 5 business days to arrive which is exceptional. I cannot recommend Elliott Brown highly enough I’m delighted with the watch."O.

"This is my first experience of the Elliott Brown Holton Automatic range. I purchased this very watch. What a piece if kit!! What a classy looking watch. Well made. Beautifully finished with some nice touches too. Particularly the strap, wearing its Elliott Brown insignia with pride. Will be buying a few straps soon. She is sitting amongst my ever growing collection. Its elegance is in the simplicity and function. Nice ❤️. A watch to be noticed for sure. Military-Inspired Perfection.
" After spending some time with my new Elliot Brown, I can honestly say this watch exceeded my expectations. The moment I took it out of the box, it immediately felt like a serious tool watch — rugged, clean, purposeful, and incredibly well made. What stands out first is the design. Elliot Brown has managed to create a watch that feels military-inspired without becoming overly tactical or flashy. The matte dark finish, the subtle vintage-toned lume, and the perfectly balanced dial give it a very confident and understated character. It looks tough, but still refined. The build quality is outstanding. The case feels extremely solid, the bezel action is crisp and precise, and the rubber strap is comfortable while still feeling durable enough for real outdoor use. Nothing about this watch feels cheap or gimmicky. Every detail seems carefully considered. On the wrist, it wears beautifully. In a market full of generic designs, this one genuinely stands out. If you appreciate clean military-inspired aesthetics, excellent build quality, and watches that feel made for real use rather than display cabinets, Elliot Brown deserves far more attention than it gets. Another cracking product
" A great piece of kit. The watch looks and feels well-made and durable. It has more than coped with the rigours of forestry work. The lume stays sufficiently bright and readable to last a whole night shift, even for my old eyes. The bezel has a nice firm action. It's nice that the extra complication of a date window wasn't added. The service from EB was as good as I have come to expect. They were kind enough to swap out the standard strap for a dark grey rubber one with a standard buckle. All-in-all, a cracking product from a cracking company. Can't wait to receive my FDE Holton"R.S.
