Our signature colour. We couldn’t resist.

A hardworking vintage-sized watch case with the blue-green-grey NIVO colour dial designed originally in Sussex in the interwar period as Night Invisible Varnish Orfordness - a paint colour designed for night bombers to mimic the colour and reflectivity of open water on a moonlit night.

Supplied on a pale genuine Alcantara strap to bring out the most of the dial colour, but all the other Arne straps will also fit if you prefer a darker brown option with or without a bund sleeve.

The name Arne has a fasciniating back story.

01. MOVEMENT SHIELD

PROTECTION BUILT IN

The movement is housed inside a stainless steel disc whose outer edge is recessed, along with the case back, to house silicone dampers. The engineering has to be precise, but its simplicity does a tremendous job of protecting the movement from knocks that would otherwise damage it.

The time adjust crown has three individual seals that all come into operation when the crown is screwed into the case. The mission timing crown has triple seals that work all the time. Both are rated and tested in water to 300m.
