AMF Holton quartz

The Holton Professional was developed in response to a request from a specialist branch of the military who demanded a fit-for-purpose professional watch capable of a life in the field.

Since its launch five years ago, the Holton has earned its place as the watch of choice for military and kinetic security personnel with thousands worn worldwide.

This bespoke special project celebrates the Allied Command Europe Mobile Force with specific subtle detailing described below.

As with all our special projects, 10% of sales will be donated to a charity chosen by the project lead.

The rubber strapped watches will comfortably fit up to 185mm/7.5" wrist. If your wrist is larger we'd suggest choosing the metal strap option or emailing us for an alternative.

Bezel:
120 click high grip bezel with a hardened stainless steel insert with bespoke grey SuperLuminova. The hobnail knurling around the edge is slightly higher than the insert to create a high grip surface for trustworthy operation even when using the palm of a wet/gloved hand. 
 

Straps:
Straps are easily changed and are secured using solid steel screw in bars driven by the five lobe tool included that locks into the socket heads in the bars.
 

Crown:
The recessed screw-down crown is located out of harm's way at 4H ensuring it won't dig into the wrist and can't get caught and damaged.

Dial:
Easy to read at a glance day or night with military clarity. The hour markers are bold pyramids reminiscent of 1970s military dive watches, brought up to date with our trademark 12-3-6-9 cardinal graphics, all printed in grey Superluminova.
 

Hands:
Clear differentiation between hours, minutes and seconds hands with minimal chance of confusion. Short stubby ‘sword’ hour hand, long slender parallel minutes hand with pointed tip that reaches precisely to the minute markers with grey Superluminova.
 

Glass:
Flat sapphire glass with internal anti reflective coating to minimise glare for perfect visibility in all light conditions. Fitted using a black sealing ring
 

Movement:

Swiss made Ronda 715 quartz movement with 3yr battery life and low battery warning. Housed inside our shock protection movement housing with elastomer shock absorbers.
 

Strap bars:
Solid steel strap bars that screw directly into the case shoulders, driven by a 5-lobe head so that the driver (included with the watch) can't slip or climb out, ensuring simple and fast strap changes whilst also providing maximum security
 

Caseback
Bolted down using hex bolts creating a perfect compression seal and correct tension for the shock absorption system. Multiple surfaces minimise skin contact for comfort. Caseback engraving will always be vertical as shown.
 

We design and re-design every component to make watches that are fundamentally fit-for-purpose, minimising or eliminating typical points of failure such as spring bars breaking, straps snapping, or watches leaking - all potentially catastrophic failures.

Any watches damaged in service can be repaired quickly and economically at our in-house workshop in Poole and returned to service with the minimum of disruption.

Not only is our servicing world class, the warranty has no small print. It’s honest, comprehensive, and straightforward. The whole watch is covered for 5 years, not just the movement. The only exclusions are accidental damage, the battery and wear & tear.
