Prime Time Reviews - June 2026

June rolled in with long evenings, a few scorching days, and no shortage of adventures for our customers to get stuck into. As always, once the dust settled (or the wetsuits came off), plenty of you took a moment to tell us how your watches are held up.

What we read was warm, candid and, frankly, humbling. One or two reviews left us genuinely lost for words. Here's what the people wearing our watches have been saying this month:

Just exceptional
"Wow, just wow, what an incredible timepiece, after much research I decided to take a chance and purchase the Holton 12hr, with reviews read, videos watched and EB website thoroughly scoured I was worried it may not live up to my expectations, my worries were unfounded, build quality and design are exceptional, having previously owned a Sinn U50, Doxa Sub and Oris Aquis I can honestly say this just feels better made, everything about is unapologetically for purpose, legibility is spot on and lume easily lasts the night, best accolade I can give it, is when it’s on there is no need to remove regardless off activity, I would usually always swap out my “good” watch for certain duties but there is something about the Holton which almost dares you not to wear it, I honestly cannot think of anything I would feel need to remove this for, I am so glad I came across EB, did my research and bought my Holton, absolutely love it, can see being in my wrist for a long time,

Chunky peanut
"Love the watch - has an inherent 'chunkiness' that doesn't overpower, sits well on the wrist and is very comfortable. Love the green dial and so pleased I got the 'peanut' leather strap as the extra. It sets the watch off beautifully. The folk at EB have been easy to deal with too so all round a recommend!"

ARNE: 606-004 - Brown Leather without Bund
Impressions of a first time buyer, the NIVO Arne
"The Arne is my first EB watch. I have only had it for a few days and I am impressed with the build quality and appearance. The NIVO color especially. Considering how this watch is built and its specs and pricing, if a field watch is your preference, this is an excellent choice. The size is perfect. The leather strap is also very good both in quality and its pairing with NIVO. The Arne is a relatively new model for EB and more people will discover it I am sure. I am looking forward to my next EB watch. It is now quite clear why there are so many positive things being said about Elliott Brown watches. Buy one and you will see for yourself."

ARNE: 606-004 - Alcantara
Great watches
"A really good piece of work. A fair bit bigger my previous ones, Omega polaris, but I quickly got used to the size. I got another EB strap a webbing one which I find comfortable. I contemplate getting a Holton, even bigger but with a bigger selection of straps. The luminosity of this watch is very impressive."

ARNE: 606-002 - Brown Leather with Bund
Solid as
"I've been looking at this watch since EB released it, but couldn't get over the strap..The bund made all the difference.The German leather strap is very comfortable to wear and fits perfectly. The seconds hand actually lines up with the minute markers, which is unusual for EB watches..It's as solid and well made as all their watches are. ( I've got 4)...This could be worn anywhere and in any situation...As far as field watches go, this is one of the best out there, especially at price to spec ratio."
