A Holton Automatic with hard won military credentials, toned back a notch with super technical matt vapour blasted steel and soft comfy rubber.

Strap:Black Rubber
Full Description

Imagine a gunmetal Holton with all its hard earned military stripes, then tone it back one notch with a super technical, matt bead blasted steel case that marries perfectly with grey-green Superluminova high performance luminosity and matt black dial and case-hardend bezel insert for ultra clear visibility in all conditions.

It's a powerful combination resulting in a watch that's arguably more wearable more of the time. A little smarter, extremely easy on the eye and absolutely perfect for any adventure or occasion you care to throw at it, with it's human powered automatic movement perfect for long or short periods off grid.

It's possibly the best looking watch we have ever put our names to and so easy to wear on rubber or equally at home on our technically advanced webbing straps like the grey-green that matches so perfectly.

Sharing a tech spec with it's military issued cousin, this is a genuine best of both worlds watch you never need take off. So easy to wear and if you're fortunate enough to ever own one, you'll notice people cocking a head to one side to read the name on the dial.

The Brief: capable of prolonged exposure to water and dust, durable, shock resistant, clear visibility day or night,  unidirectional ultra high grip timing bezel operable with a gloved hand, easy strap changes and comfortable strapping options that don't break.

The specification of the bezel gives a perfect insight into the level of detail required for the project to be successful.

A precise 120 click ultra high grip bezel houses a stainless steel insert precisely etched with hours and minutes markings then flooded with X1 C3 SuperLuminova. The hobnail outer knurling is slightly higher than the insert to form a high grip surface for trustworthy operation even when using the palm of a wet gloved hand.

Both components are matt bead blasted, then a black PVD coating is applied to the hardened stainless steel insert to create clarity against the X1 C3.

If you'd like a metal bracelet, the B06 matches perfectly.

N.B. this bezel is unapologetically fit for purpose. Please be warned it is likely to catch or wear shirt cuffs etc.

Our returns policy is on our site here, and our five year warranty is outlined here.

The last two photos are stills taken from a video of a quartz Holton and a Kimmeridge strapped to an ROV in the Gulf of Mexico in March 2020, still working at 3900ft - almost 3/4 mile underwater.
